This Project Manager role is ideal for a professional who enjoys entrepreneurial approach to managing projects, proactive in identifying risks and nurturing great relationships with all stakeholders including subcontractors, clients, engineers, consultants and the internal project supporting teams. The right person will recognize this role as a natural next step based on their current experience managing institutional, commercial and light industrial construction projects between $10 million to $50 million within a General Contractor environment.

The Role: Project Manager
In this role, you will spend most of your time leading projects and regardless of the contract type, you will be encouraged to collaborate with the larger team from pre-construction through turnover. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams, and be responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. This role combines hands-on project leadership with strategic oversight, including schedule and budget management, contract administration, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and project reporting, while getting the required guidance from the Project Director and regional leadership team
What You'll Bring:
  • 8–10 years of construction project management experience with a General Contractor, managing commercial and institutional projects from pre-construction through completion; public sector project experience (Alberta Infrastructure, School Boards, and/or AHS) is a strong asset.
  • Strong technical and project leadership capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, risk management, and stakeholder coordination with subcontractors, consultants, engineers, and owner representatives.
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management (or equivalent experience) with excellent communication and problem-solving skills; proficiency with MS Project and Procore is considered an asset.
