Job description

Title: Telecom - Regulatory Compliance Engineer (RF / Radar Systems)

Location: Schaumburg, IL (Onsite 5 days weekly)

Salary Range: $100,000 - $180,000 / year

Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Benefits: This role is eligible for health, dental, 401k and more.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Relocation is offered if out of the Chicagoland area/60+miles away

Overview:

Must have 5+ years of experience with:

  • Leading FCC certification and compliance testing (Part 15, 87, 90)
  • Coordinating testing with external labs such as UL
  • Preparing FCC filings, test reports, and certification documentation
  • Debugging compliance failures and driving corrective actions
  • Partnering with engineering teams to build compliance into designs

We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Engineer to own FCC certification and qualification testing for advanced RF and radar-based systems. This role ensures that products perform exactly as claimed and meet all regulatory requirements prior to release.

This position is open to both highly experienced compliance professionals and individuals earlier in their career with strong fundamentals and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a regulatory or compliance engineering role
  • Hands-on exposure to FCC certification processes
  • Strong documentation and attention to detail
  • Associate degree, military background, or equivalent experience accepted
  • Radar, RF, drone, or aviation system experience is a plus
