Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

  • Work closely with the Information Technology and implementation teams in order to efficiently monitor, facilitate, and manage multiple projects
  • Coordinate project updates and timelines with each project's lead implementation engineer and customer project liaison
  • For each product implementation, formulate a project plan tailored to the needs of the customer
  • Work closely with the sales team to effectively prepare for pending product implementations and provide the sales team with status updates of active projects. For product implementations requiring application development, confer with other department project personnel and act as a liaison between the implementation and development teams
  • Work with network operations personnel and the network administrator regarding system requirements and tracking of system hardware purchases
  • Weekly status meetings with carriers and the sales team
  • Attend training on the company's wireless product offerings
  • Identify areas for and work to improve implementation processes and procedures.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of project methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with customers and third-party vendors. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of project management experience
  • 6+ years of experience improving processes and procedures relating to project management
  • Wireless industry experience is a plus

OTHER:

  • May require travel and/or be on-call
  • May require working in excess of 40 hours/week
  • Physical requirements:
  • Ability to sit at a desk for one or more hours at a time
  • Ability to operate a computer and other equipment in the office
