Role Overview:
TexStar Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to join our company based out of Selma, TX. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telecommunications Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage all phases of telecommunications infrastructure projects, from initiation to closure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while adhering to all safety regulations and industry best practices.

What you'll do
Responsibilities:
  • Quality and Safety Assurance:
    • Prioritize and promote a strong safety culture on all project sites.
    • Ensure compliance with all company, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Implement and enforce strict quality control measures as set forth in the project execution plan to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Assist support operations in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Oversee and manage successful delivery of telecommunications construction projects, including site surveys, design review, permitting, scheduling, material procurement, civil works, fiber optic installation, and equipment commissioning.
    • Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and applicable codes and standards.
    • Report project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and in conjunction with operations, implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and supervise project teams in execution of the project plan.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to project team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
    • Conduct regular checks of progressive redlines and project documentations to monitor progress, ensure quality.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Approve invoices and manage payment schedules for subcontractors and vendors.
    • Identify and suggest opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
    • Communicate project updates, progress, and potential issues effectively to all relevant parties.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and close-out documents.
    • Prepare and present regular project status reports to PMO and leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience and knowledge will be considered in lieu of post-secondary education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications construction project supervision/management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic networks, cellular sites, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations, construction methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
  • Experience working with or in a Project Management Office (PMO) structure and a deep understanding of the inputs required for all project management lifecycles under a portfolio of projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google applications is required.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, P6, Smartsheets, Microsoft Project, Fieldwire, Raken, etc). Be prepared to speak to any you have used.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Must possess exceptional ability to effectively communicate and present through regular meetings with customers, employees, internal teams, and management staff as they relate to your portfolio of work and the company goals and objectives.
  • Proficiency in statistical status reporting and workforce planning.
  • Hours/Schedules are determined based on Customer needs in compliance with any regulations; on average - must be able to perform the above for at least 8 hours per day 5 days per week.
  • Reporting to an office is required
