TAK Broadband is a leading end-to-end U.S. fiber broadband network construction contractor operating in 42 states. TAK's ecosystem of partners allows it to successfully complete every project starting from the first point of conception. This includes engineering teams, distributors, and more than 100 qualified construction crews with extensive experience across all ISP types and markets; over 300 experienced bury drop crews; and more than 700 professional technicians.


We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in the Phoenix, AZ area. In this role you will oversee project planning, budget management, and team coordination while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards are met. We are seeking a professional with a combination of strong leadership abilities with technical telecommunications knowledge to deliver successful projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with stakeholders, manage cross-functional teams, implement risk mitigation strategies, and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources for telecommunications projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies to align project goals and expectations
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, field technicians, and contractors, ensuring smooth workflow and communication
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Ensure all telecommunications projects comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Monitor project expenses, prepare financial reports, and ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality
  • Travel +/- 80% annually to project sites, client locations, and partner facilities
  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all installations and deployments meet company and customer expectations
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, track progress, and provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience in telecommunications experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or related field a plus
  • Strong understanding of fiber optics, wireless networks, VoIP, broadband, and other telecom infrastructure
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or related project management certification a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrates exceptional adaptability in learning and responding to changing conditions
