Project Manager - Data Centers

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $105k - $115k/year


About the Role: A growing systems integration company is looking for a Senior Project Manager with at least 5-7 years of experience to oversee their data center projects in the Phoenix, AZ market. This customer-facing role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining strong financial performance. The ideal candidate has experience managing projects involving electronic security, fire alarm/life safety, building automation, low-voltage systems, or related technical construction environments. They’d also have experience serving as the primary point of contact between customers, field teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, as the Project Manager will lead projects from award through completion, developing project plans that align with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and business objectives.


Full responsibilities for this role include managing project schedules, budgets, forecasting, procurements, and overall financial performance while coordinating resources, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution. Monitoring project risks, labor and material costs, cash flow, and scope changes and maintaining strong customer relationships is imperative. This role will also provide leadership and guidance to the project and field teams.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of project management experience in one of more of the following: Electronic security, Fire alarm and life safety, Building automation, Low-voltage, or related technical systems.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and cash flow oversight.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • College degree, trade school education, or equivalent professional experience.


Preferred Experience:

  • Data center or mission-critical project experience.
  • Experience overseeing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • PMI certification or other relevant project management and Industry-specific certifications.
