IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Sr Telecom Project Manager to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Please find below additional details about this job. Client is considering only LOCAL CANDIDATES for this role. 

Job Description

Responsible for the designing, configuring and procuring of large complex high speed data, voice systems and network connectivity. Responsible for identifying the customers' requirements and translating them into a configuration for data, voice, building and station wiring, LAN's, WAN's and the DES infrastructure. Schedules and attends assessment meetings, obtains and evaluates quotes from voice, data and cabling vendors. Responsible for the preparation of technical administrative reports; develops and participates in staff development and training. Works with vendors to bring projects to successful completion, meeting all required customer deadlines. (50%)\

Deep level of knowledge of telecommunications technology used throughout DES, including voice, VOIP, switch, router , data applications, carrier services, LAN, WAN, Ethernet and internet protocol addressing. Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Good, oral, written and analytical skills. Design, configuration, procurement and installation of telecommunications equipment. Understand terms of vendor contracts. Oversee and coordinate all vendor work to ensure successful and timely installation of network services to DES programs. (25%)

Coordinating and resolving inter-divisional problems/issues

Ability to perform independent research. Must possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Must have the ability to work independently with little to no supervision. Ability to work with the Division's and Administration's employees, customers and vendors. Apply time management skills, Use PC desktop software and apply them to daily functions; Organize and maintain files, accurate records, and business processes of optimize workload and productivity; Work concurrently on multiple tasks and change task/work priorities based on workload and situations; 

Be flexible, adaptable and learn quickly while working in a fast pace environment.

Personal ability to recognize potential issues and pro-actively address and solve.

Ability to provide completed documentation to satisfy tasks, requests, and other documentation required by DTS analyzing and evaluating preparing comprehensive management reports; ability to interpret and communicate financial data

Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to form working relationships with other management staff, internal and other agency personnel; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Relationships include the cross divisional, and agency program staff and agency senior management (25%)
