Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

We are looking for an IT Sourcing Analyst to join our Global Sourcing team in Monterrey (Obispado). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in procurement or vendor management who wants to deepen their exposure to IT sourcing across software, hardware, telecom, and cloud services.

You will support end to end sourcing activities, working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and cross functional teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost effective procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support sourcing activities across IT categories, including software, hardware, telecom, cloud, and IT services
  • Assist in RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), including documentation, bid analysis, and supplier comparisons
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, timelines, and technical specifications
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding, due diligence, and documentation processes
  • Maintain and track contracts, renewals, and sourcing milestones
  • Manage procurement documentation (purchase requests, SOWs, contracts) ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Support pricing analysis, benchmarking, and sourcing recommendations
  • Maintain data in procurement systems and reporting tools
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, controls, and audit requirements
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and business teams to support sourcing initiatives
Experiences/Education - Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain
  • Basic understanding of sourcing processes, contract lifecycle, and supplier management
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, cross functional environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Experiences/Education - Desired
  • Exposure to IT categories such as SaaS, cloud, telecom, hardware, or managed services
  • Experience with procurement/ERP tools (Ariba, PeopleSoft, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with global sourcing environments or multinational organizations
  • Understanding of pricing models, SLAs, and contract structures
  • Knowledge of supplier risk, compliance, and governance processes
