Job description

The Role:

The Network Solutions Architect partners with the 11:11 Systems sales team to both acquire new customers and grow existing customer accounts, leading pre-sales technical discussions with a particular emphasis on WAN, SD-WAN, SASE, Internet, private connectivity, and managed network services. As a Network Solutions Architect, you will uncover and translate customer network and connectivity requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions leveraging 11:11 Systemsโ€™ products and services.

This is a full-time US-based remote position and will report to the Director of Solutions Architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in multiple concurrent sales opportunities, acting as the network subject-matter expert during discovery, design, and proposal stages.
  • Design customer solutions by using a consultative selling approach to identify client business and technical issues, determine desired outcomes, and architect network and managed telecom solutions that utilize 11:11 Systemโ€™s Network as a Service products and services.
  • Coordinate across internal teams (Product, Engineering, Operations, Pricing, Legal, and others) to design, document, price, and quote end-to-end solutions for presentation to the customer, including network diagrams, bandwidth calculations, and resiliency designs.
  • Provide an in-depth overview of 11:11 Systemโ€™s network and connectivity architecture and proprietary product capabilities, articulating how these deliver differentiated value in the market.
  • Continually seek industry and market information related to networking, cloud connectivity, and managed telecom to provide 11:11 Systems with data necessary for successful business development and roadmap input.
  • Represent 11:11 Systems at public events such as trade shows, webinars, and customer briefings, acting as a brand ambassador and thought leader for network and managed services.
  • Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with the 11:11 Systems Code of Business Ethics and Company Values, and adhering to company data handling, security, and privacy policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s or University degree required (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline).
  • 5+ years of experience in Networking and/or Security roles with a strong focus on routing, switching, WAN, and security technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience in pre-sales Solutions Architecture or Sales Engineering supporting network and connectivity solutions, or equivalent customer-facing technical experience with strong persuasive communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience in several of the following areas:
    • Enterprise IP networking (routing, switching, BGP, EVPN)
    • SD-WAN and/or SASE platforms
    • Managed network and telecom services (MPLS, Ethernet, DIA, private wave, broadband aggregation, etc.)
    • Cloud connectivity (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, private interconnects, IPsec, and similar)
    • Network security (firewalls, segmentation, zero trust network architecture)
    • Hybrid multi-cloud environments integrating network, compute, and storage across on-premises and cloud platforms.
  • Strong customer interfacing skills, including the ability to translate complex network and connectivity requirements into clear solution designs and business value for 11:11 Systemsโ€™ offerings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially presentation skills, in both large group and one-on-one settings, including the ability to whiteboard network architectures and explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Well-developed time-management, task-management, and note-taking skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and flexible, demonstrating passion, enthusiasm, and self-confidence that translates well to customers, partners, and colleagues, with an investigative mindset focused on problem solving.
  • Up to 25% travel may be required for customer meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Must be located in PST time zone.

Compensation and Benefits at 11:11 Systems

The base salary for this role ranges from $ 150,000 to $ 170,000.
These ranges are informed by market data, internal equity, and qualifications required by job level. Actual pay is based on multiple factors, including skills, experience, certifications, and location.
