  • Technical focal point for incident resolution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents across Cisco Data Center and Transport technologies
  • Accountable for the accurate and timely resolution of network incidents detected
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and training to NOC engineers
  • Engage and partner with extended DISH operations teams for cross technology incident resolution

Description:
  • Drives incident resolution for issues experienced in customer environments.
  • Contributes to the diagnoses, troubleshooting and resolution of incidents related to Cisco products, services or solutions.
  • Escalates complex issues to Tier 3 when required for incident and problem resolution.
  • Provides customer updates or answers for products, services or solutions questions for the 5G Infrastructure.
  • Creates or updates, and delivers problem resolution, project collateral and/or knowledge transfer.
  • Contributes to user level documentation for resolving technical problems found in products and solutions and supports customer Knowledge Transfer
  • Engages and drives appropriate resources for escalations.
  • Maintains accurate documentation in incident and knowledge management systems.
  • Ensures case management guidelines are followed.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Network Engineer provides engineering services for network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot LAN and WAN service issues on Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms
  • Configuration of switching platforms, Cisco 3750x, 9200 and 9300, Cisco Nexus, Fortiswitch
  • Configuration of routing platforms, Cisco ASR and ISR, Fortigate, Meraki
  • Installation of network hardware
  • Activation of leased WAN circuits
  • Participate in daily team meetings and various project meetings
  • Create and update network documentation
  • Create and review change scripts
  • Work with security team to mitigate active threats
Education & Experience
  • Required-Associates' degree in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent technical training
  • Active CCNA required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Information Systems, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands on networking experience with Cisco projects
  • Minimum of 3 years of SD-WAN experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and configuring LAN Infrastructures, STP, Ether-channel/Port Channel configuration, Dot1.Q Trunking, VTP, 802.1x, DHCP, DACLs
  • Experience troubleshooting WAN infrastructures, VRFs, routing protocols, IP ACLs, leased circuits
  • Experience troubleshooting nd TACACS+
  • Experience designing IP Schemes
  • Experience troubleshooting 802.11 wireless issues
  • Experience troubleshooting client and network issues
  • Experience configuring SNMP monitoring and logging
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Must demonstrate strong ownership of responsibilities
