IT Technician II – Telecommunications SupportLocation: Austell, GA 30168 Contract- 18 Months Experience: 3–5 Years Client- Georgia PowerTravel: Required within the Georgia Power footprint; occasional travel beyond service area may be requiredJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IT Technician II to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of telecommunications, data, voice, wireless, fiber optic, and transport network systems.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with telecommunications systems, digital microwave, fiber optic networks, LANs, voice systems, wireless data communications, PC hardware, alarm systems, and DC power systems.
