Telecom Civil Technician / Tower Construction Technician

Austin, TX | Travel Required


Build Wireless Infrastructure Across the Country

B+T Group is hiring Telecom Civil Technicians / Tower Construction Technicians to support wireless infrastructure and cell tower construction projects throughout the region.

This is a hands-on field role ideal for candidates with experience in telecom construction, utility construction, tower work, heavy civil, concrete/foundation installation, or outdoor field operations.

If you enjoy working outdoors, traveling for projects, operating in fast-paced construction environments, and being part of building critical wireless infrastructure, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform telecom and tower site civil construction activities
  • Assist with site layout, utility installation, and foundation work
  • Support construction and installation of wireless tower infrastructure
  • Work around heavy equipment and active construction sites
  • Read and follow construction drawings and work orders
  • Document completed work and field activity reports
  • Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for job sites
  • Travel to project locations as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Construction, telecom, utility, tower, or field technician experience preferred
  • Experience with concrete, excavation, foundations, site work, or utility installation is a plus
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work safely in field environments
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • OSHA-10, CPR/First Aid, or Competent Climber certifications are a plus but not required
