IT Facilities & Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Sunnyvale, CA Day 1 onsite

  • 12 + years of IT Facilities & Infrastructure Project Management/PMO experience
  • Experience in managing Low Voltage Cabling, Audio Visual implementations, MDF & IDF design/implementation, Network infrastructure setup, Cell DAS implementation, Vendor & Budget management
  • Experience driving Project Planning sessions; Have used various frameworks to prioritize work based on ROI/Business Value
  • Clearly articulate the Business Value (in terms of ROI) for the work/projects committed to the leadership team
  • Possess solid communication skills, and will be comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced technical environment with experience using Agile/Scrum process and best practices to ensure the successful planning and delivery of projects in IT Facilities
  • Proven experience in managing Multiple Large IT Facilities Projects
  • Solid analytical mindset. Ability to define and build dashboards for C-level executives
  • Self-starter with strong decision-making abilities who can drive projects to completion
  • Proven track record of achieving results through collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to effectively and clearly communicate with all levels within the organization
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to handle multiple job duties in a fast-paced IT Facilities projects

Primary Function of this Position:

  • IT Facilities & Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for managing corporate IT Facilities and manufacturing projects in structured cabling, WAN/LAN/WLAN, DAS, audio visual/collaboration, clinical labs, Voice, physical security and cyber-Security. Project manager will lead high visible projects from discovery, initiation to closure. We are looking for an experienced individual who can adopt Intuitive Surgical s (ISI) Project planning and delivery processes, as well as contribute to strategy, roadmap discussions, project execution and delivery of our engagements.
  • Ability to demonstrate collaboration, conflict resolution, risk mitigation, set and track schedules, resource management and vendor management skills. Proven experience in a result driven environment. Experience and skills necessary to continuously improve, develop and deliver ISI initiatives. Demonstrate PMO organizational skills to enhance data integrity and accuracy.
  • The role needs to be performed in unique high energy and multi-cultural work society. Self-starter working with minimal guidance. Ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills. Strong proven experience using Project Management Tools (such as Anaplan, Smartsheet), expert in using Office 365 applications. Fluent in working multiple collaboration tools such as Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Slack.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate regular Project team meetings, team coordination, action item tracking, record minutes and communicate
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting project management deliverables
  • Drive schedule discussions and develop project schedule coordinating with Vendors & internal team
  • Plan, coordinate and manage large IT initiatives while anticipating, and mitigating risks
  • Provide meaningful optics and insights using tools like CAD Viewer, Visio, Bluebeam, Lucid charts for day-to-day project activities. Expertise in using Smartsheet/Excel /MS Project and PowerPoint for Project planning and tracking.
  • Build out integrated dashboards based on data sets using multiple PPM tool such as Anaplan, Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Project
  • Manage & influence large cross-functional team(s)
  • Assist with the deployment of IT Project Management Tools ecosystem, while driving project maturity & discipline
  • Define and communicate target change schedule, Provide inputs for Demand Management for IT Facilities Projects
