With locations in Los Angeles, CA, Boulder, CO, and Haslet, TX, we bring science-backed wellness products to consumers nationwide.
Vytalogy Wellness is seeking an Sales Specialist to support and grow the Jarrow Formulas business across the independent natural channel.
Sitting within the Vytalogy sales organization, this role works in close daily partnership with our broker network - primarily Green Spoon - to drive sales, enable field execution, and deliver exceptional service to our retail accounts.
The ideal candidate brings a salesperson's mindset, a brand ambassador's passion for the Jarrow portfolio, and an operator's discipline around account management.
You'll serve as the connective tissue between retail accounts, broker partners, and internal teams - owning proactive outreach, order management, field support, and cross-functional coordination.
Sales & Account Management
• Build proactive relationships with independent natural retailers to generate orders, activate new SKUs, and sustain account engagement
• Manage an assigned account base, tracking performance against sales goals and promotional targets
• Identify and close distribution voids in partnership with the Green Spoon field team
• Communicate promotional programs, deal structures, and new item launches to buyers; confirm placement deal terms prior to execution
• Support line drive windows and new item sell-in by coordinating materials, samples, and account communications
• Equip accounts with educational resources - including Expert Voice content - to build product knowledge and drive sell-through
• Represent Jarrow at select trade shows, with occasional travel required
Broker & Field Team Support
• Serve as the primary internal contact for the Green Spoon team on assigned accounts, ensuring field reps have the tools, assets, and information to represent Jarrow effectively
• Coordinate support materials, order forms, promotional assets, and car stock needs ahead of store visits and line drive windows
• Communicate IRC coupon needs and placement priorities during non-promotional periods to sustain in-store velocity
• Support Direct account renewals and distribute Approved Product Lists (APLs) to field reps
• Audit SKU distribution with field teams and flag gaps or voids requiring follow-up
• Assist with endcap and placement execution by communicating program details, timelines, and account-specific requirements
Customer Service, Logistics & Order Management
• Manage inbound order inquiries, confirmations, and follow-ups for assigned accounts
• Proactively communicate out-of-stock situations, discontinuations, substitutions, and deal expirations to minimize retail disruption
• Distribute current order forms, price lists, and promotional materials to buyers and broker contacts on a timely basis
• Coordinate with AR and customer service teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, credit requests, and discount questions
• Track and communicate order status, shipping timelines, and fulfillment issues that may impact retail availability
• Maintain accurate account records and activity logs to support reporting and cross-functional visibility
Required
• 2+ years of experience in natural channel sales, CPG brand sales, or broker/distributor sales
• Familiarity with the independent natural retail landscape, including buying dynamics, promotional structures, and account cycles
• Excellent communicator - confident on the phone, clear in writing, credible with retail buyers
• Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and timelines simultaneously
• Proficiency with order management systems, CRM tools, and basic sales reporting
Preferred
• Strong knowledge of or genuine enthusiasm for dietary supplements (vitamins, minerals, condition-specific formulas)
• Experience working cross-functionally across sales, broker networks, and internal operations teams
• Comfort in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment where agility and ownership are valued
Reporting & Collaboartion
This role reports to the Head of Sales, Natural Channel at Vytalogy Wellness.
Day-to-day collaboration spans the internal customer success and accounting teams, the Green Spoon broker team, and independent natural retail accounts.
