Practice Overview: Kidz and Teen Dental/Orthodontics is expanding its operations and looking to fulfill an immediate front desk opening. We operate a bright, child-friendly, and modern office setting designed for comfort and efficiency. Our team culture centers heavily on mutual respect, continuous professional development, and a collaborative approach to pediatric oral healthcare.
Role and Schedule: This position is full-time and based at our Carrollton office, with interviews being scheduled immediately upon receipt of applications. Hourly compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour depending on background, supplemented by a 401(k) retirement structure with matching contributions.
Front Office Expectations: Ideal applicants will possess prior experience navigating dental EHR platforms, particularly Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend. Administrative tasks include gathering updated patient data, verifying identifications, processing payments, and addressing general billing questions. Additionally, the receptionist will verify insurance details, process clinical claims, manage electronic health records with strict confidentiality, and maintain an organized reception area.

Requirements

Requirements: Candidates must be reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong multitasking and clerical skills, including the ability to handle multi-line phone systems, are required.

Preferences
  • Dentrix

Preferences: Prior experience of 1 year or more in a dental front desk role is preferred. Proficiency in dental EHR systems such as Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend is preferred. Professional fluency in Spanish is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and general dental terminology is preferred.
