Certified Surgical Tech - Labor and Delivery

Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Tech specializing in Labor and Delivery. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in an obstetric setting, performing various surgical procedures, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. This role requires advanced skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligation, vaginal repair, and hysterectomies.
  • Coordinate with RNs and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain a sterile environment while performing surgical procedures.
  • Document procedures and patient care accurately using the EPIC system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications.
  • Experience in a labor and delivery setting.
