Job Summary
ERMCO is seeking a skilled IT Project Coordinator to enhance its team by supporting staff working on IT projects within the distribution transformer industry. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on IT project management experience within a manufacturing environment, but those with formal project management training are encouraged to apply. Join a team where project management expertise directly impacts productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
This role is remote within the following states: AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, and WY. Candidates may reside in or relocate to any of these states. Relocation assistance will be provided.
Responsibilities
  • As a PMO representative, you will assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
  • Track project deliverables and timelines, updating project status as needed.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate project execution.
  • Maintain project documentation, including reports and risk logs.
  • Support issues and risk management processes.
  • Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the PMO, IT department, and with others to ensure that best practices are shared throughout the organization.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to all IT and organizational policy, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, making customer concerns a priority.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1+ years' experience in IT project coordination or administration.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences; listen actively and ask clarifying questions.
  • Collaborate across functions and locations, build trust, and contribute to team success.
  • Demonstrate a customer service mindset-anticipates needs, responds promptly, and follows through.
  • Take ownership of outcomes; meet commitments with integrity and a safety-first approach.
  • Solve complex problems with facts and structured thinking.
  • Adapts to change, learn quickly, and manage competing priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software (MS Project, Jira, etc.).
  • Understand project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
