S3, Inc. has an immediate need for a Corporate IT Manager to lead the IT team at our corporate HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.
This is not a teleworking position. US citizenship is required.
Job Description:
The Corporate IT Manager will oversee all aspects of our information technology infrastructure and support our network administrator. The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our IT systems and networks supporting all locations, CONUS and OCONUS. This role requires a strong understanding of IT principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience working within the defense industry and familiarity with relevant security regulations (e.g., NIST, CMMC) is required. The Corporate IT Manager will report to the Corporate Administration Manager, and manage network administrators, and help desk staff.
Duties:
  • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure with two other team members, including servers, networks, desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Tracks and monitors system and task status; data storage, retentions, and retrieval; and reviews and audits system functions.
  • Checks quality and accuracy of work performed by team members.
  • Manages the company's firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Acts as a backup network administrator.
  • Provides technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Manages IT projects, such as system upgrades, software deployments, and network expansions.
  • Maintains accurate inventory of IT assets.
  • Develops and maintains IT documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and user manuals.
  • Manages relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Stays up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant security regulations and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, CMMC).
  • Manages a CMMC enclave system.
  • Develops and implements disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Manages the IT budget.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Qualifications:
  • 12 years total experience in IT solutions
  • BS in Computer Science (CS) or Management Information Systems (MIS.
  • 3 years as a system manager in a DoD-funded contractor facility or government facility
  • 3 years managing an IT support team
  • Experience working within the defense industry, and passing audits with relevant security auditors (CMMC, etc.).
  • 1 year experience with administering RSA two-factor authentication
  • 3 years management experience with Corporate Level AS9100D ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, DFARS compliant processes.
  • An active DoW Secret Security Clearance is required. (Top Secret clearance is a bonus).
