Job Summary:
Smarthost Design Technologies is a growing innovative information technology and services solution provider. They are seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager to support a U.S. Army organization, managing IT operations, helpdesk support, and ensuring compliance with security policies.
Responsibilities:
• Manage helpdesk operations and ensure all tickets are resolved within 72 hours
• Administer Active Directory accounts and group permissions
• Manage Army365 licenses and accounts
• Maintain accurate inventory of all IT equipment and automation systems
• Manage annual lifecycle replacement process in accordance with Army purchasing procedures
• Oversee warranty repairs and equipment replacement
• Support and maintain 26 classroom audio visual systems
• Manage mobility devices and ensure mission capable status
• Ensure compliance with Army and DoD IT security policies
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active U.S. Secret clearance at time of application
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in Information Technology and or Project Management roles
• Experience managing Active Directory user and computer accounts
• Experience with Windows group permissions
• Experience troubleshooting printers, hardware, and software
• Experience writing and troubleshooting PowerShell scripts for Windows 11 and Office 365
• Experience managing IT lifecycle replacement programs and warranty tracking
Preferred:
• Experience working in DoD or Army environments preferred
