IronMountain Solutions LLC is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join us as an IT Manager at our Corporate Office in Huntsville, AL.  This dynamic position will be responsible for supporting, developing, implementing, and maintaining systems and processes for an environment which requires strict cyber security adherence to include DFARS 252.204-7012, NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0. The IT Manager will report to the Senior Vice President and manage all personnel within the Corporate IT Department.

  • Talented IT professional combining excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Flexible collaborator who excels both independently and within a team environment while maintaining compliance with security regulations and industry best practices.
  • Administers Microsoft Office 365 with a specialized focus on SharePoint site creation and permission management.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Environments, Automation and Applications) and able to manage and create complex flows.
  • Assists in managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and MFA within an Azure hybrid environment.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's cybersecurity strategy, policies, and technical controls to protect company information systems and data.
  • Assists with the installation, configuration, maintenance, repair, and proactive monitoring of workstations and physical/virtual servers to support the enterprise network.
  • Drives service delivery by overseeing the management of an IT Service Management system utilizing ITIL-aligned standardized processes.
  • Oversees diverse technical projects alongside subject matter experts, managing budgeting, scheduling, milestones, and associated communication plans.
  • Creates comprehensive technical documentation, including diagrams.
  • Proactively monitors, manages, and responds to hardware, software, and infrastructure problems in the support of the enterprise network.
  • Provides written and verbal assessments to management regarding status, issues, and risk.
  • Maintain, govern, and continually improve our IT Service Management System (SMS) to ensure strict compliance with ISO/IEC 20000-1 standards, internal policies, and audit readiness.

Required Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in the IT field is strongly preferred.
  • Candidates must have at least ten (10) years of experience as a network engineer/administrator with most of that experience coming from government contracting or defense industry.
  • Candidates must have at least three (3) years of management experience overseeing employees.
  • Experience maintaining LAN and WAN architectures with a practical understanding of the various components and functions within LAN/WAN network solutions including protocols and services.
  • Experience supporting NIST 800-171 compliance.
  • Experience administering an ITSM (incident management, troubleshooting, research, recovery; with related communications to the customer)
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 administration experience.
  • Candidate must be available to work at our corporate office located in Huntsville, AL. Ability to have a hybrid work environment will be considered.

Supervisory Responsibility

Candidate will supervise employees in the Corporate IT Department.

Clearance Requirements: Candidate must have a Secret security clearance. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, working at least 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to include an after-hours support rotation.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

An IWA and ability to acquire secret level security clearance is required.
