Job Summary:
Vertiv is a global critical infrastructure and data center technology company. As the Global Product Manager for KVM & Serial Products, you will oversee the development and enhancement of flagship products, working closely with cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring market needs are met and value is delivered to customers.
Responsibilities:
• Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for our portfolio of IT management products in the KVM and Serial Console markets.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive 3-year strategic product roadmap that aligns with business goals and market demands.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Partner with engineering teams to translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications and oversee the development process.
• Collaborate to ensure a user-centric approach to product design and functionality with the goal to improve the customer experience and drive market adoption.
• Work with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to create go-to-market strategies, sales enablement materials, and customer support documentation.
• Engage with customers, partners, and industry experts to gather feedback and understand their needs, pain points, and preferences.
• Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to drive product decisions and prioritize features.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the product relevant and forward-thinking.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality product and software releases.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage product enhancements, updates, and bug fixes based on customer feedback and market demands.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree encouraged.
• 5+ years of experience in product management or product development, with a focus on Enterprise IT management, networking equipment, remote access devices, or compute platforms.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex products with software elements throughout their lifecycle.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with product management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and people skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
