Job Summary:
Air Systems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to lead IT operations while serving as the primary liaison to EMCOR Corporate IT. The role involves providing strategic leadership, managing day-to-day IT operations, and aligning technology with business objectives to drive long-term value through IT investments.
Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership for IT, establishing a clear vision and roadmap that aligns technology with business objectives
• Serve as the escalation point for complex issues, taking direct ownership through resolution when needed
• Act as a key advisor to executive leadership, helping shape decisions through insight into technology capabilities, risks, and opportunities
• Develop and execute a 1–3 year IT roadmap covering infrastructure, systems, security, and digital initiatives aligned with business growth
• Lead day-to-day IT operations and support, prioritizing requests, resolving issues, and ensuring minimal disruption to the business
• Manage and optimize infrastructure (network, systems, hardware, cloud) to maintain performance, uptime, and resilience
• Serve as the primary liaison to EMCOR Corporate IT, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and enterprise standards while supporting local needs
• Drive IT projects, vendor performance, and technology investments, delivering scalable solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support business performance
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7-10+ years of IT experience, including progressive leadership with strategic responsibility
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT strategies aligned to business goals
• Strong background in infrastructure, systems administration, and end-user support
• Proven ability to lead through influence, make informed decisions, and balance short-term needs with long-term priorities
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic and financial impact
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service and user satisfaction
• Track record of prioritizing effectively, acting with urgency, and ensuring follow-through
• Experience working with corporate IT structures, standards, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, and security practices
• Experience managing vendors or outsourced IT providers
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to build alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders
