Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team in a dual-role position responsible for managing service dispatch operations and procurement activities for our managed IT services (MSP) business. This role is critical in ensuring seamless delivery of IT support services to our clients while maintaining optimal inventory and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Service Dispatch (50%)
  • Receive, prioritize, and assign service tickets and support requests to support response and field technicians
  • Coordinate scheduling to maximize technician efficiency and minimize response times
  • Monitor open tickets and follow up to ensure timely resolution
  • Communicate with clients regarding appointment scheduling, status updates, and issue resolution
  • Maintain dispatch records and update the ticketing system with accurate status information
  • Response to “quick hit” and incident tickets as necessary
  • Escalate urgent or complex issues to the appropriate teams or management
 
Procurement (50%)
  • Manage inventory of hardware, software, and IT supplies
  • Process purchase orders and track deliveries from vendors
  • Research and evaluate vendors for best pricing, quality, and lead times
  • Maintain procurement documentation and inventory records
  • Coordinate equipment deployment for new client installations
  • Assist with asset tracking and lifecycle management
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-4 years in IT dispatch, customer service, or procurement roles (MSP experience preferred)
  • Technical Aptitude: Understanding of IT hardware, networking, and common software applications
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; professional phone and email etiquette
  • Soft Skills: Understand the importance of Client Experience. Proven results being politely persistent with team members and clients.
  • Organization: Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities
  • Technical Tools: Familiarity with professional services automation (PSA) tools and remote monitoring/management (RMM) platforms a plus
  • Education: High school diploma required; associate's degree or relevant certifications (CompTIA, ITIL) preferred
