What You Will Be Doing:

The Emerging Technologies – Analyst is responsible for identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting innovative solutions leveraging AI and automation using no/low/pro-code technologies in the Microsoft Cloud. This role combines business analysis, solution development, technology consulting, and continuous learning to help Yancey realize measurable value from emerging technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business challenges, gather requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend practical technology-based solutions.

  • Design, build, test, deploy, support, and continuously improve Power Platform, Microsoft 365, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Participate in agile/sprint activities including backlog refinement, user story development, iteration planning, testing, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support demos, adoption activities, workshops, and documentation for emerging technology solutions.
  • Maintain velocity, quality, governance, security, and customer trust while exploring emerging technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned and qualified.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in required safety programs, and working in a safe manner
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager
Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have prior experience with business analysis, solution development, and technology consulting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred.

  • At least 1 year of consistent, applied, daily use of large language models (LLMs) in a professional context.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • At least 1 year of consistent, applied, daily use of large language models (LLMs) in a professional context — experience building solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and related AI technologies is highly desirable.

  • Ability to provide multiple examples of personally built Power Apps, Power Automate Flows, Logic Apps, AI agents, integrations, APIs, or other production solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse), including full-lifecycle solution development, deployment, governance, and support (0-to-1, DEV-to-PROD, complete SDLC).
  • Proficiency across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and related development platforms.
  • Experience integrating systems through APIs, connectors, web services, custom code, and cloud-native automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint participation, backlog management, code reviews, testing practices, and collaborative development.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into secure, maintainable, scalable solutions.
  • Enjoys exploring the limits of emerging technologies while maintaining velocity, quality, security, governance, and customer trust.
  • Desires to cultivate a strong personal and team reputation for technical excellence, consultative partnership, business analysis, and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience developing AI agents, copilots, or conversational applications.
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, APIs, or cloud-native development.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and environment management.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI principles, and enterprise security requirements.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse architecture, integration patterns, or enterprise application modernization initiatives.
  • Cybersecurity and governance awareness, continuous learning mindset, consultative service orientation, and willingness to share knowledge across Emerging Technologies, IT partners, and Yancey.
