Position Overview

  • Flexible Schedule: This position offers a flexible schedule of Monday through Friday, with start times between 6-9am and end times between 3-6pm, depending on your start time (a full 8-hour day must be worked). Corporate office hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 4am - Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.
  • On-Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at our corporate office during office hours.
  • Compensation Package–
    • $110,000 - $120,000 / Year
    • The above compensation is a range. Offers are made based upon a candidate's experience and the geographical location of this position.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in architectural design, including 5+ years in multifamily project design.
  • 5+ years of Revit experience, with strong proficiency in other relevant software tools.
  • Bachelor or master's degree of Architecture.
  • Architectural License in Washington required for Architect designation.
  • In-depth knowledge of building code, zoning regulations, and multifamily industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance design aesthetics with technical functionality and constructability.
  • Understanding of sustainable design principles and a commitment to creating environmentally responsible projects.
  • Experience with writing specifications is required.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
  • Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Your Role

Client Relations & Collaboration

  • Identify client priorities and balance needs vs. desires.
  • Assist project architects and designers to ensure plans meet client standards and codes.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design teams to facilitate the design process.
  • Ensure all construction complies with client specifications, building codes, and regulations.

Architectural Tasks

  • Provide leadership and guidance to architects and designers on multifamily projects.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning, and industry standards; mentor junior staff.
  • Review and approve architectural documents for accuracy, quality, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants for integrated designs.
  • Assist contractors during construction to resolve technical issues and ensure design compliance.
  • Stay current with trends and incorporate sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.
  • Support budget evaluations and propose value-engineering options without sacrificing quality.
  • Implement and maintain quality control throughout the design process.

Communication & Reporting

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation to internal and external teams.
  • Facilitate meetings to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Professional Development

  • Stay informed on industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
