Job description

A&P Mechanic
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking A&P Mechanics with Turbo Prop experience for an opportunity in Pompano Beach, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, repairs, and inspections at a Part 145 Service Center.
Job description
  • Able to use FAA-approved data, i.e., IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc., proficiently.
  • Performs airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
  • Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems
  • Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems, using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA
  • Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment
  • Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
Qualifications:
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree GED required
  • Five plus years of Aviation Maintenance experience required. TBM/Turbo prop experience preferred.
  • Inspection experience/ IA designation preferred.
  • Experience with TBM aircraft, preferred
  • Must possess a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must be able to legally work in the US
  • Valid US Driver's License required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen & background check
