Job description

The Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the training in all departments and evaluation of training programs to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively. This role leads a team of on-the-job trainers (OJT) and works closely with the Training Manager and Training Coordinator to ensure that training programs are successful.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Supervise and support OJTs and trainees, ensuring high-quality instruction and delivery.
  • Conduct hands-on technical training and certification of new hires and associates that have been awarded a new position including Forklift, Low Lift Hoist, and Lock Out Tag Out.
  • Conduct classroom (Defect Class) sessions for all affected associates.
  • Ensure all training programs align with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Conduct weekly training evaluations for trainees.
  • Conduct quarterly and end-of-training Demonstration of Ability for trainees.
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to OJTs.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback.
  • Assist with the development and rollout of training and development videos.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Advanced degree in related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of training experience in manufacturing; textile experience a plus
  • Computer Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Capable of working in a team environment.
  • Professional Attitude.
  • Possess a good safety, work, and attendance record.
  • Ability to analyze training needs and measure effectiveness.
  • Available to work any shift is required.
