ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Training Manager develops and leads the organization's training strategy for contractors and sales representatives in the roofing industry. They design and deliver scalable programs and resources that enhance contractor skills, support certification, and align with company goals, thereby improving installation practices, product knowledge, and customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Define and drive the training strategy to support company goals and contractor success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Technical Services, etc.) to deliver a high-quality learning experience.
  • Design and implement scalable training programs for in-person, online, and hybrid formats.
  • Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), including curriculum development, course management, and certification programs.
  • Develop and maintain training materials such as installation guides, videos, and field-use tools.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Technical Services, Warranty, Research and Development, and Quality teams to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Coordinate with Technical and Warranty teams to address field issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred.

Field of Study Preferred: Education, Training, Business, or a related field.

Required Work Experience: 7 years of experience in training, instructional design, or education program management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Travel Requirements: 50%

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
