Job description

At Middle Street Construction, every team member plays a pivotal role in driving the companyโ€™s success and the success of their individual projects. As a Project Manager, you'll lead the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role combines strategic leadership, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills to manage every aspect of the project lifecycle while fostering collaboration across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and/or lead in a preconstruction role for ongoing and upcoming efforts including but not limited to quantity takeoff, developing scopes of work, and bid packages, and other various bid responsibilities.
  • Lead timely buyout process on assigned projects managing risk management decisions and issuing subcontract/purchase order agreements.
  • Set up and management of submittal schedule. Assign team responsibilities and manage overall execution of submittal schedule and procurement to meet project schedule.
  • Coordination with all assigned project stakeholders.
  • Review and management of change requests ensuring proper trade partner coverage and accuracy of trade partner pricing. This includes preparation, presentation, and obtaining execution on change requests and Owner Change Orders.
  • Preparation and submission of monthly Owner pay applications.
  • Communication of project-based responsibilities to leadership, including but not limited to safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Lead project related meetings such as OAC meetings, progress meetings, etc.
  • Support in developing project budget and management thereafter including preparation of monthly cost reviews and forecasting.
  • Lead project closeout process through completion of assigned project.
  • Actively involved in recruiting, interviewing, building, and teaching new talent and teams.
  • Provide support for the development team as necessary, including overview of 3rd party contractors utilizing knowledge and experience of all items above.
