Field Service Technician: Caledonia, IL
Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and support industrial machinery at customer facilities. This position offers travel, excellent earning potential through overtime, and the opportunity to become a trusted technical expert for customers across a variety of industries. If you're an experienced technician looking for a career that combines technical expertise with independence and adventure, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial machinery at customer locations
  • Travel throughout North America to provide on-site technical support
  • Train customer personnel on machine operation and preventative maintenance
  • Provide remote technical support via phone and email
  • Complete service documentation and reports
  • Assist with machine testing and production support when working in-house
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to quickly resolve technical issues while delivering outstanding service
Skills & Experience:
  • Education: HSD, required; Technical training, trade school, or Associate degree in a related field, preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years of field service, industrial maintenance, or related technical experience, required
  • Knowledge: Mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills, PLCs, motors, drives, HMIs, VFDs, pneumatics, industrial control systems, & ISO standards, required
  • Software: Rockwell/RS Logix, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks, preferred
