Carmel Partners, one of the nation’s leading specialists in real estate investment management, with expertise in the investment, development, and construction of multi-family real estate, is seeking a Technology Support Associate in our Denver, CO, Regional Office.

The Technology Support Associate serves as a primary point of contact for technology support across the company and provides dedicated on-site support for the Denver office. This role delivers responsive, high-quality technical assistance across hardware, software, conference room technology, mobile devices, and end-user systems, while supporting employees both onsite and remotely. In partnership with the broader Business Technology team and Insight, the company’s managed service provider, the Associate also supports local network and site infrastructure, enterprise applications, and administrative and enablement activities related to the company’s AI program. This position requires strong technical judgment, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage a broad range of support needs in a professional corporate environment.

A place for you

Here at Carmel, we don’t just invest in buildings, we invest in careers. If you don’t meet all of the qualifications listed for this role, we encourage you to monitor our career page for upcoming opportunities. We’re committed to assembling diverse teams with exceptional talent, and we strongly encourage individuals from a wide range of backgrounds to apply. Everyone’s career journey is unique, so let’s explore how you could be a great fit for our team!

What you'll do
  • Serve as the primary onsite technology resource for the Denver office, providing hands-on deskside support including laptop/desktop imaging, deployment, repair, and secure disposal
  • Set up, test, and troubleshoot conference room technology and AV β€” Zoom Rooms, displays, cameras, and audio equipment β€” before and during meetings
  • Manage local technology inventory and the equipment stockroom, including receiving, asset tagging, and shipping of hardware
  • Complete onsite new hire setup and handle offboarding, equipment recovery, and secure data handling
  • Provide onsite support to executives and visiting employees, and support onsite/virtual events, town halls, and all-hands meetings
  • Act as the first point of contact for technology issues companywide, resolving what you can and escalating the rest, and document/track issues to resolution in our ticketing system
  • Remotely support PC and non-PC devices, including printers and mobile device setup, and coordinate ticket handoffs with our outsourced support team
  • Perform hands-on network work in the Denver IDF/MDF β€” patching, cabling, port mapping β€” and assist with switch configuration, VLAN assignment, and DHCP/DNS verification
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting for connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi, and VoIP issues, and act as the local liaison with ISPs, telecom carriers, and cabling vendors
  • Provide administrative support for the company’s enterprise AI tools β€” account provisioning/deprovisioning, onsite enablement, and routing of AI-related requests
  • Track AI license assignments and inventory, and flag recurring issues or adoption barriers observed onsite
  • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles, and support new initiatives within the Business Technology department
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and relevant experience will be considered.
  • 2+ years of IT support experience in an enterprise corporate setting, both onsite and remote
  • Hands-on experience providing deskside and on-site support in a corporate office environment
  • Experience supporting Mac OS laptops and iOS devices required, preferably with the JAMF Device Management Utility, plus familiarity with mobile device configuration (Apple and Android)
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals β€” TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, wireless, structured cabling; CompTIA Network+ or equivalent preferred
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware, including patching, switch/access point installation, and cable management within an IDF or MDF
  • Experience with Active Directory/Entra ID, and with Zoom and conference room AV support, preferred
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI tools such as Claude Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Copilot β€” or strong interest in learning them
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to varied audiences
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to handle sensitive or challenging situations calmly and professionally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints and work independently
Additional requirements
  • This position is based in the Denver office and requires onsite presence four days per week, with one remote workday. The schedule may be adjusted based on business needs.
  • Periodic travel to other corporate offices or company locations may be required.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support system maintenance, technology deployments, office moves, or other business needs.
  • Ability to lift and move computer and network equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on technology support activities, including working in server rooms, under desks, and on ladders as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation and benefits play a key role in your choice of employer, and our goal is to invest in you and your experience here. You’ll find competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package at Carmel.

This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. The anticipated annualized base compensation range is $55K to $65K. Total compensation for this role also includes a bonus incentive in addition to the base salary.
