Job description


I. Job Summary
Provides enterprise-level technology leadership across business and digital domains, establishing architecture strategy, governance, standards, and roadmaps that enable scalable, secure, and reliable business capabilities. Partners with business leaders, product teams, and engineering teams to drive digital transformation, cloud adoption, data-driven decision making, and emerging technology innovation.


II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Develops and maintains enterprise architecture roadmaps aligned with business strategy and organizational priorities.
  • Defines technology standards, reference architectures, design patterns, governance processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Evaluates emerging technologies, AI capabilities, cloud platforms, and vendor solutions to determine strategic fit and business value.
  • Leads architectural reviews, governance activities, and approval processes for major initiatives and investments.
  • Resolves highly complex or ambiguous architecture challenges and provides architectural leadership, technical direction, and decision support across business, product, and engineering teams.
  • Partners with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering leaders to translate business objectives into scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions.
  • Designs architecture solutions and oversees implementation of complex programs to ensure alignment with business requirements, enterprise standards, and strategic objectives.
  • Defines architecture patterns and provides guidance throughout the solution lifecycle from concept through implementation and support.
  • Ensures technology solutions, system improvements, and architecture decisions are successfully implemented to increase business value, efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  • Drives platform modernization, technical debt reduction, cloud adoption, and long-term technology sustainability planning.
  • Identifies and mitigates architectural risks, dependencies, and technical constraints that may impact delivery outcomes.
  • Collaborates with engineering teams to establish DevOps, CI/CD, automation, security, and software engineering best practices.
  • Mentors architects, engineers, and technical leads to advance technical capabilities and architectural maturity.
     


III. Qualifications 
A. Required Qualifications 
 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar area of study
  • 10+ years or more years previous experience.


B. Preferred Qualifications 
 

  • Master's Degree
  • MCSE, CISSP, CNA, AIX or Solaris Administration.
