Job description

As a Senior Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be the principal technical liaison between our product, sales, and customer success teams. You will provide tailored solutions for clients in the commercial real estate sector, specifically focusing on the complex VTS Activate product landscape (including Activate, Activate Workplace, Activate Multifamily, CBRE Host, and CBRE Host Building). Your unique combination of property management experience and deep technical proficiency will help ensure that our clients maximize the value of our software.

What Makes This Job Awesome?

  • Act as the definitive subject matter expert (SME) and technical leader for the VTS Activate suite's integration landscape and partnerships, both internally and externally (e.g., Braxos, Kastle, CCure, AMAG, etc.).
  • Design and deliver advanced, in-depth technical demonstrations for prospects and clients, specifically showcasing how the VTS Activate product suite solves specific challenges.
  • Provide advanced technical support during the sales process, addressing complex questions and concerns about system integrations and core functionalities, serving as the technical closer for Activate deals.
  • Provide support during the sales process for qualifying opportunities with hardware requirement and implementation. Provide handover details to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth implementations.
  • Own the solution reporting process for VTS Activate deals, including documenting deal journals and synthesizing won/loss reasons. This reporting provides critical intelligence for the Product team (feature gaps), the Sales team (competitive analysis), and the Executive team (market/product trends).
  • Lead knowledge transfer and cross-functional upskilling initiatives for the Sales, Customer Success, and Services teams. This involves supporting the creation of documentation and providing semi-formal training specific to technical discovery, deep integration enablement, and complex ongoing support for the Activate product family.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their property management workflows and identify opportunities to implement our software effectively.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams, providing technical feedback to influence product development.
  • Partner with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for prospect engagement and client retention.
  • Partner with Clients, Product and Engineering teams to help shape API roadmap through scoping capabilities for native and third-party applications.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

  • Deep technical proficiency and ability to understand and communicate complex software solutions, with a strong emphasis on API integrations and technical solution delivery.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the VTS Activate product suite, with a specific focus on Activate Multifamily and CBRE Host/Host Building products.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, with commercial real estate property management a plus.
  • Proficiency with property management software platforms such as Angus and Building Engines.
  • Proven experience creating and delivering complex software demonstrations and sales presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
  • Proven experience working with property managers, tenants, and real estate stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

  • Deep experience with VTS Activate, CBRE Host, or comparable tenant experience/access control software platforms.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of access control and building management systems (e.g., Kastle, CCure, AMAG, Building Engines, MRI, etc and their integration points.
  • Experience with additional property management or tenant experience software platforms.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate operational workflows, including tenant relations, maintenance, and reporting.

Pay Transparency
At VTS, we pride ourselves on articulating a clear and transparent philosophy around equitable, impartial compensation that will allow us to recruit and retain an exceptional team. The base salary is market-driven at the time of offer and is based on tier 1 market data. The base salary for this role will range between $135,000 and $165,000 and is determined by several factors, including your skills, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews, leveling, and geography. There is a bonus structure for the position that will bring the OTE (on target earnings) between $170,000 to $225,000, depending on the base salary agreed upon and achievement to goals.
