Job description

Job Summary:
Tract Capital Management is a company focused on digital infrastructure investment and seeks a Technical Solution Architect. This role involves designing and implementing software solutions for Supply Chain, Construction, and Procurement operations, serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Design end-to-end application and integration architectures supporting data center supply chain, construction, and procurement workflows.
• Translate business requirements into technical solution designs, including data models, integration patterns, and system interfaces.
• Define and maintain architecture standards, best practices, and reference designs for core business capabilities.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools to support current and future state architecture.
• Own the technical design and architecture workstream on projects from discovery through deployment.
• Work closely with business users in Supply Chain, Construction, and Procurement to understand processes, pain points, and requirements.
• Serve as a primary liaison between business teams and technical/developer resources, ensuring mutual understanding of requirements, constraints, and timelines.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in clear, business-oriented language.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of construction and procurement workflows (e.g., bidding, contracts, change orders, RFIs, purchase orders, inventory, logistics).
• Partner with enterprise application owners (i.e., ERP, project management, construction management) to ensure integrations, data flows, and security models are robust and scalable.
• Contribute to and maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in change management, including impact analysis, risk assessment, and communication for new or changed solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a technical architecture, solution design, senior developer, or technical lead role.
• Demonstrated experience designing or implementing enterprise software architecture.
• Experience working with supply chain, construction, and/or procurement systems.
Preferred:
• Strong understanding of application architecture, including data models, integrations, data flows, and security considerations.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms (e.g., project management, RFIs, submittals, drawings, change events).
• Familiarity with integration technologies (e.g., REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, iPaaS).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt communication style to business users and technical audiences.
• Proven ability to liaise between business users and technical or developer teams, gathering requirements, clarifying needs, and translating into actionable designs.
• Background in project-based industries such as construction, engineering, or capital projects.
• Prior experience working in a cross-functional environment with finance, operations, and IT stakeholders.
