Job description

The SEO Specialist is responsible for driving comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance website visibility and performance. Working closely with the management team, this role focuses on full-service SEO including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and backlink analysis. The specialist manages SEO tools and delivers regular performance reports to guide ongoing improvements without any travel requirements.
We have a portfolio of several websites. We have typically contracted with agencies in the past, however, we have more than enough work now across our portfolio to have a full time internal SEO Specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research to identify growth opportunities
  • Implement on-page SEO optimizations for content and site structure
  • Perform technical SEO audits and resolve issues to improve site health
  • Develop and execute content strategies aligned with SEO goals
  • Analyze backlink profiles and manage link-building efforts
  • Track SEO performance and generate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports
  • Monitor competitor SEO activities and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Manage SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
