Job Description:

The Position

The Technical Research Analyst will focus primarily on equities with main responsibilities including:

  • Reviewing and rating individual stocks

  • Preparing and publishing investment reports

  • Conducting regular fund reviews with portfolio managers

  • Collaborating with Technical Research colleagues

  • Generating reports, creating new market visualizations, and building custom chart packets

  • Analyzing technical indicators and strategies, and presenting results to investment professionals

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who have the following characteristics:

  • An undergraduate degree and at least 5 years of experience in the financial markets

  • An intermediate to advanced level of understanding of technical analysis

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to analyze multiple data sets and translate into clear investment conclusions

  • Familiarity with intermarket analysis and global financial markets

  • Exceptional aptitude and broad knowledge of investment technology and applications

  • Desire to generate new and innovative technical indicators

  • The ability and desire to educate investment professionals on the concepts and benefits of technical analysis

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $175,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
