Technical Project Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager contractor to support client implementations. This position will play a critical role in managing operational technical deployments, overseeing Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, and ensuring the successful implementation of healthcare technology systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in managing IT endpoint systems, compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH, FDA), and have a proven track record of leading projects in regulated healthcare environments. This role requires collaboration with clinical staff, IT teams, and administrative departments to implement technology solutions and evaluate vendors.

Candidates must have:

  • Technical Project Management: A minimum of five years of experience in technical project management, specifically in healthcare environments, with a strong focus on IT systems and endpoint management.
  • Healthcare IT Endpoint Systems: At least five years of experience working with healthcare IT endpoints, ensuring compliance with security standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH, FDA regulations).
  • RFP Management: A minimum of three years of experience directing RFP processes, vendor evaluation, and selection in a healthcare or regulated environment.
  • Technology Deployment & Integration: At least five years of experience in deploying, integrating, and migrating healthcare technology solutions within healthcare organizations.
  • Project Management Methodologies: Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches to project management.
  • Project Management Software: Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, and MS Project.
  • Education: A bachelorโ€™s degree in IT, business, or a related field (preferred)

This role requires the position to be fully on-site. The engagement is for 6 months and will begin 4 weeks from the time the quote is received.
