The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

Enterprise Business Services Transformation team is looking for a full-time Project Manager to support transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives through effective leadership and execution.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and coordinate prioritized cross functional projects or operational initiatives on behalf of PMO leadership.

  • Assemble cross functional teams to drive critical outcomes

  • Support Business Services leadership in managing key stakeholder relationships and expectations across the program, leveraging proper communication and risk management techniques

  • Oversee the development of requirements documentation and related technical specifications to address business needs: system implementations or enhancements, regulatory changes, process/policy modifications, technology upgrades, etc.

  • Leads the effort with the project team to develop risk and issue mitigation to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals

  • Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within and across multiple projects

  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs

  • Report project outcomes and risks to the appropriate management channels as needed, escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans

  • Manage all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure for multiple projects of varied complexity

  • Create project plans, including deliverables, activities, and timelines

  • Analyze project progress and when necessary, adapt scope timelines and costs to ensure the project team adheres to project requirements

  • Ensures all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget Works collaboratively with other departments impacting the project

  • Leads communication with stakeholders and team members through the completion of the project

  • Presents to functional leadership regarding the status of projects and options to address critical issues, while managing project costs to budget.

  • Develops close working relationships to provide insightful recommendations and guidance to improve the current processes, achieve efficiency and cohesiveness to optimize end to end business processes

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

  • 5+ years of experience assembling and leading cross-functional teams, coordinating projects, and driving critical outcomes.

  • 5+ years of experience supporting business service leaders by managing stakeholder relationships and aligning expectations across programs.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing documentation and technical project specifications to address business needs, including system implementations or enhancements, regulatory changes, process/policy updates, and technology upgrades.

  • Prior experience in leading project teams to develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to achieve productivity, quality, and organizational goals.

  • Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining project scope management processes, set quality and performance standards, and assess and manage risks across multiple projects.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
