Title: IT Project Manager – Software & Firmware

Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months (06/16/2026 – 06/16/2027)

Pay Rate: $60/hr. on W2


Job Description:

Lead software and firmware development initiatives supporting innovative consumer products, connected devices, and wearable technologies. Partner closely with engineering, product, design, and QA teams to drive project execution, Agile delivery, and cross-functional alignment. This role requires a hands-on project leader who can create structure, improve processes, and successfully navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced product development environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing software and firmware projects from concept through launch, implementing Agile and SDLC best practices, and coordinating highly technical teams building consumer-facing products.


Job Functions:

  • Lead software and firmware development projects through planning, execution, testing, and delivery.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives.
  • Manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, product management, UX, design, and QA teams.
  • Drive adoption and continuous improvement of SDLC and Agile development processes.
  • Utilize Jira to manage workstreams, track progress, and maintain project visibility.
  • Support product testing, validation, and release readiness activities.
  • Identify execution gaps, remove blockers, and implement scalable project management practices.
  • Monitor project performance and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support new product development efforts within an innovation-focused environment.


Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong Project Management, Agile, Scrum, and SDLC experience.
  • Advanced Jira and project tracking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and technical teams.
  • Builder mentality with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.


Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Delivery Lead.
  • Experience managing software and firmware development projects.
  • Experience supporting consumer-facing products, connected devices, wearables, or hardware-integrated technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with embedded systems, firmware, robotics, or consumer technology products is highly preferred.
