ย

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and generateย project tracking reports, key performance metrics, and corrective action plans, when necessary.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teamsย โ€“ acting as the bridge between engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, and business units.
  • Support and manage projects involvingย ServiceNow Security Operationsย (SIR, Vulnerability Response, and Vendor Risk Management).
  • Collaborate on cloud strategy andย assist in managing Azure-based cloud migrations.
  • Understand project interdependencies andย draw connections between similar tasksย in different projects to avoid redundancy or conflicts.
  • Serve as aย deputy to the Team Managerย โ€“ providing status updates, driving coordination meetings, ensuring timely follow-ups, and representing leadership when needed.
  • Keep task tickets up-to-date and provide cohesiveย project summaries to stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively at all organizational levels using both written and verbal communication to break down technical or complex concepts.
  • Monitor and support adherence to project governance involving NIST, CMMC, or CMMI-related compliance guidelines (if applicable).

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ yearsย of experience as a Project Coordinator or Program Manager in IT or technical project environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience withย JIRAย โ€“ including board creation, dashboard management, filtering, reporting macros, and Kanban methodologies.
  • Background or exposure toย technical environments, ideally supporting cybersecurity, security operations, or infrastructureย teams.
  • Experience creating and maintaining accurate project documentation, task logs, timelines, and follow-up actions.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience withย remote team coordinationย and asynchronous communication tools (Slack, Teams, Confluence, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in cybersecurity or information security projects (desired butย not required).
  • Familiarity withย NIST, CMMC, or CMMIย cybersecurity compliance frameworks is a strong plus.
  • Experience managing or coordinating withย ServiceNow Security Operationsย modules: Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), and Vendor Risk Management (VRM).
  • Understanding of cloud technologies includingย Microsoft Azureย and cloud migration processes.
  • Relevant certifications a plus:
    • Project Management:ย PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification
    • Information Security:ย CISSP, CISA, CSSLP, CISM, CCSP, GSEC (preferred but not required)

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Youโ€™re aย JIRA power userย โ€“ able to build and manage agile workflows across complex projects.
  • Youโ€™re aย strong communicator, able to update and align both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • You thrive inย dynamic, fast-paced environmentsย and can juggle multiple projects without losing sight of objectives.
  • You take initiative, follow through on deliverables, and are proactive in coordinating across teams.
