Job description

Technical Project Coordinator

Position Summary

The Technical Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the successful execution of manufacturing projects by coordinating technical documentation, tracking project milestones, and ensuring all engineering deliverables are completed on schedule. This role serves as the liaison between Engineering, CAD, Sales, and Production to maintain visibility of project progress from a technical perspective. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Essential Responsibilities

· Track and monitor multiple projects from award through completion.

· Generate and maintain project submittals and technical documentation.

· Coordinate with the CAD team to ensure required drawings are completed and released on schedule.

· Maintain project status updates and communicate technical progress to internal stakeholders.

· Monitor completion of engineering and technical requirements necessary for fabrication.

· Ensure technical deliverables are completed prior to production activities.

· Maintain project records, schedules, and documentation.

· Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to resolve project issues and maintain timelines.

· Assist with project kickoff activities and technical handoffs.

· Identify potential project delays and communicate risks proactively.

· Support continuous improvement efforts for project tracking and documentation processes.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

· U.S. Citizen (required; no exceptions).

· Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

· 2+ years of project coordination, engineering support, manufacturing, or related experience.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

· High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

· Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

· Familiarity with CAD drawing processes.

· Experience with ERP systems.

· Knowledge of project scheduling or project management software.
