Job Description:

Role Summary
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will lead complex, cross-functional technology programs with a primary focus on stakeholder alignment, executive communication, and delivery governance.
This role requires the ability to operate confidently with senior executives (VP, SVP, C-level) while translating business priorities into executable technical programs.
The TPM will serve as the single point of accountability for program planning, execution, risk management, and executive reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder & Executive Management
Act as the primary interface between business leaders, senior executives, engineering teams, and external partners.
Manage expectations of VPs, SVPs, and C-suite stakeholders, ensuring clarity on scope, timelines, risks, and outcomes.
Drive alignment across competing priorities and influence decision-making without formal authority.
Facilitate executive-level forums, steering committees, and QBRs.
2. Program Leadership & Delivery
Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex, multi-workstream technical programs.
Develop and maintain program plans, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
Proactively identify risks, blockers, and trade-offs; escalate with clear options and recommendations.
Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic objectives.
3. Communication & Reporting Excellence
Create crisp, executive-ready communication (readouts, decks, dashboards, decision papers).
Translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant insights for non-technical audiences.
Maintain transparent and consistent communication across all stakeholder groups.
Drive clarity during ambiguity and organizational change.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, Data, Operations, and Finance teams.
Ensure clear ownership, accountability, and handoffs across teams.
Coordinate internal and external dependencies, including vendors and system integrators.
5. Governance & Process Rigor
Establish program governance, operating cadence, and delivery standards.
Track KPIs, OKRs, and program health metrics.
Drive continuous improvement in program management practices.
Required Qualifications
8–12+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or equivalent roles.
Proven experience managing senior executive stakeholders in large enterprises or Big Tech environments.
Strong background in technology programs (software, platforms, infrastructure, data, or enterprise systems).
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, influence cross-functional teams, and resolve conflicts.
Experience preparing and presenting materials for executive and board-level audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in FAANG / large global enterprises / complex vendor ecosystems.
Background in cloud platforms, enterprise systems, data platforms, or AI/ML programs.
PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent certifications (preferred, not mandatory).
Experience working with globally distributed teams.
