Essential Functions
  • Lead the strategy and continuous improvement of Garmin's open-source wiki and related tools.
  • Define and maintain processes for creating, organizing, and sustaining shared documentation.
  • Establish standards for content structure, ownership, and governance.
  • Independently own complex, multi-team programs with ambiguous requirements or dependencies
  • Define and drive execution strategy across teams, functions, and timelines
  • Resolve cross-organizational dependencies, risks, and delivery friction without direct authority
  • Ensure programs deliver intended outcomes, not just milestones
  • Lead program activities that involve coordination with external partners or customers
  • Communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to senior managers and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Provide execution leadership and mentorship to Technical Program Managers working on contributing programs
  • Ability to maintain a regular and consistent physical presence in the assigned work location
  • Ability to demonstrate reliable, predictable and punctual attendance

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Management AND a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management, program management, product management, or equivalent experience in shipping software or cloud services
  • Proven ability to orchestrate work across multiple teams and disciplines
  • Strong judgment in navigating ambiguity and tradeoffs
  • Must possess clear, concise communication with various groups such as engineering and business leadership
  • Must be detailed-oriented and possess the ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task in a flexible, fast-paced and challenging environment to effectively meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end delivery of software products and/or technology features from inception to production release

Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with open-source collaboration models, contributor workflows, or open technical knowledge-sharing practices
  • Familiarity with process documentation, workflow design, or technical governance frameworks
