About the role:

A 4 to 5 month contract opportunity. You will report to the Program Director located in Monticello, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training in classroom, simulator, and plant environments
  • Instruct and evaluate:
  • Non-licensed operators
  • Initial license candidates
  • Licensed operators and shift leadership
  • Develop and maintain training materials (lesson plans, simulator scenarios, evaluation tools, JPMs)
  • Support performance improvement and corrective action programs
  • Assist with simulator fidelity and regulatory compliance (NRC / ANSI standards)
  • Participate in emergency response organization, refueling outages, and plant issue response

Qualifications:

Requirements

  • Active or previously held Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license required
  • Instructional capability
  • Prior SRO certification (BWR preferred)
  • 10+ years nuclear operations experience
  • Classroom and simulator instruction experience
  • Experience with NUREG-1021 exam development
  • INPO Instructor Certification
  • Supervisory experience
