Our client seeks a Sr Product Owner, Data Products to contribute to and execute product initiatives within the Bank. The role will partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop product strategies, priorities, and a roadmap while ensuring alignment on product vision. The position will drive positive change through technical innovation and continuous improvement, serve as the interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams, and provide expert consultation on tactics and strategies to achieve product goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy. Partner with stakeholders to define, refine, and align on vision, strategy, priority, scope, and roadmap. Lead development and execution of a product vision and roadmap aligned to business goals. Prioritize initiatives and define scope for Program Increments, sprints, and MVPs. Identify risks and dependencies and proactively mitigate them. Build strategic long-term solutions using subject matter expertise.
  • Product Management. Develop a prioritization framework and strategy for delivery initiatives. Prepare and refine the product backlog and roadmap. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the backlog. Plan and create initiatives, features, epics, and stories in JIRA.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management. Articulate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders. Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders. Navigate stakeholder dynamics and manage expectations.
Experience Requirements:
  • 6 years in Product Management, Scrum, or Agile with a Bachelor's degree, or 10 years with a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in Banking, Regulatory, Data Warehouse or Data Lakes, AWS or Snowflake.
  • Domain expertise in Banking, loan products, and regulatory reporting preferred.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes, including AWS or Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of technologies and trends impacting the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record delivering agile data products across cross-functional teams using Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. High School Diploma or GED considered with additional experience.
