Job Description Shop Foreman - Heavy Equipment Dispatch & Service Springfield, MO | On-site | Full-time This is a high-visibility, office-based role that sits at the center of the service operation - managing technicians, communicating with customers, and keeping a regional field fleet running efficiently. This opening is the result of an internal promotion. Pay: $26-$28/hr depending on experience | Flexibility for strong candidates Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (alternate 8:00 AM-4:30 PM available) Environment: 100% office | Multi-screen dispatch focus Overtime: Possible as operation grows What You'll Do Dispatch and schedule field service technicians across the region, monitoring approximately 20 field service trucks Serve as the primary point of communication between customers and the service team - providing updates, coordinating response times, and resolving issues Open, manage, and close work orders in a timely manner to minimize aged work-in-process Monitor technician availability, truck locations, and dispatch boards throughout the day Assist with technician scheduling, workflow management, and labor efficiency tracking Review and prepare invoices, warranty claims, and job status reports Support billing cycle efficiencies, labor margins, and service documentation Assist with technician training, safety meetings, and performance reviews Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What We're Looking For Strong communication skills - you'll be coordinating between customers, technicians, and management daily Background in heavy equipment, construction equipment, automotive dealerships, or dispatch/service coordination Ability to multitask across multiple screens, systems, and priorities in a fast-paced office environment Comfortable using computer-based dispatch systems and Microsoft Office tools Able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and keep workflows moving High school diploma or GED required; technical school certificate or 3+ years of related experience preferred Nice to Have John Deere product knowledge or dealership experience Prior field service dispatch experience Customer service leadership background #LP.
