     Job Description

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Managed IT Services Sales Professional to join our team. This role is responsible for generating new business and expanding existing accounts by delivering customized managed IT solutions, including help desk support, network management, security services, infrastructure monitoring, and IT consulting. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, a strong understanding of IT operations, and a consultative sales approach

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and close new sales opportunities for managed IT services across a defined territory or vertical
  • Engage with key decision-makers (CIOs, IT Managers, Operations Leaders) to understand their current infrastructure, challenges, and goals
  • Present tailored solutions such as remote monitoring and management (RMM), IT helpdesk, cybersecurity, business continuity, and cloud integration
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, needs analysis, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing
  • Work closely with technical teams to scope, design, and present solutions that meet client needs and align with our service capabilities
  • Maintain detailed pipeline activity and reporting in CRM tools
  • Stay informed on evolving technology trends and competitor offerings in the managed services space


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally with managed services, MSPs, or IT consulting firms
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components such as networking, security, cloud, and endpoint management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to develop lasting relationships and close mid- to high-value service contracts


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling managed services such as:
    • Remote IT monitoring and maintenance
    • Help desk or desktop support
    • Backup and disaster recovery
    • Endpoint and network security
    • IT compliance and risk management
  • Familiarity with RMM, PSA platforms (e.g., ConnectWise, Kaseya), and ticketing systems.
