Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer I to join their team. As a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer I, you will be part of the Facility Department supporting Data Center Engineering Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technical Operations Engineer I
Location: Plain City, OH
Pay Range: Maximum $32.38 per hour

Whatโ€™s the Job?

  • Manage on-site shift technicians, senior shift technicians, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to established practices and procedures.
  • Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility operations and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with IT managers and other leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Operate and manage routine and emergency services on critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, etc.
  • Assist in the design and build out of new facilities and projects aimed at increasing current facility efficiency.

Whatโ€™s Needed?

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree or Technical (Military/Trade School) Degree with relevant experience.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • 0-2 years of management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
