Technical Marketing Manager

About the Company A well-established medical technology organization with a broad portfolio of clinical solutions used across hospital and critical care settings worldwide. The company is known for combining innovation with strong clinical value, supporting providers with reliable, high-performance technology. Its culture emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and a mission-driven focus on improving patient outcomes.

The Opportunity The organization is expanding its Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) portfolio in North America and is seeking a Technical Marketing Manager to lead commercialization, product positioning, and market development efforts across surgical technology platforms.

What You'll Do In this role, you will serve as the North American technical and marketing lead for the MIS portfolio, partnering closely with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, and Commercial teams to support product launches and go-to-market strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead product positioning, messaging, pricing support, and sales enablement
  • Own clinical and competitive intelligence to guide market strategy
  • Partner with marketing, clinical, and engineering teams on product development and launch readiness
  • Support commercialization efforts and drive adoption across surgical customers
  • Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, and customer engagements

This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite / 2 days WFH) with approximately 20% travel.

Travel includes:

  • Customer and hospital site visits
  • Gathering market feedback
  • Engaging surgeons and clinical stakeholders
  • Supporting go-to-market execution

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biological Sciences, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device industry (surgical preferred)
  • Background in surgical device product marketing, commercialization, or downstream marketing
  • Familiarity with MIS technologies (endoscopic imaging, surgical energy, laparoscopic systems) strongly preferred
  • Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, clinical, and commercial teams
  • OEM or white-label partnership experience is a plus
