What You'll Do
  • Serve as a technical resource for internal sales teams, engineers, contractors, and customers.
  • Interpret construction plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements to recommend appropriate products.
  • Provide product training and presentations to engineering firms, DOT personnel, municipal officials, distributors, and contractors.
  • Assist customers with product selection, custom configurations, load calculations, and installation best practices.
  • Promote company products through presentations, lunch-and-learns, trade shows, jobsite visits, and industry association meetings.
  • Develop or assist with technical marketing materials, such as brochures, submittals, design guides, case studies, and project profiles.
  • Monitor competitor products and market trends to identify opportunities and strategic positioning.
  • Work alongside sales representatives to expand market share through technical engagement.
  • Support project planning, bidding, and preconstruction efforts.
  • Provide specification support to ensure company products are included in engineering plans.
  • Participate in key account development by offering professional technical consultation.
What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, marketing, or product support required.
  • Knowledge of precast concrete, RCP, stormwater systems, and relevant ASTM/AASHTO/DOT standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts to explain product capabilities to stakeholders.
  • Skill in delivering presentations, training, and lunchandlearns.
  • Ability to troubleshoot installation or productrelated issues in the field.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using CRM or basic design/CAD tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, travel, and deadlines.
Your Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
